Speedy, the perky spokesman for Alka Seltzer, first appeared in 1952 magazine ad. It would be his debut the following year in the new medium of television that would propel him into advertising superstardom. From 1953 to 1964 he would go on to star in over 200 different commercials. His trademark jingle, ?Plop plop, fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is!" has become one of the most memorable in advertising history. This particular bobble is considered EXTREMELY RARE as there were only 200 Black & White pieces of this PVC version of the icon made which stands approximately 7.5" tall. Contains: Aspirin 325 mg Heat treated sodium bicarbonate 1700 mg Citric acid 1000 mg Alka-Seltzer?
