Made by Funko for Vere Music Group to distribute at the annual Universal Music and Video Distribution Convention held in Los Angeles to music industry professionals. Tommy LiPuma is a Grammy Award winning producer and is the Chairman of Verve Music Group. Only 3,000 Wacky Funko were produced and distributed at the convention in early 2001. This Wobbler should only get harder and harder to find as time passes due to its distribution method, a true RARE one in the Funko line of Wacky Wobblers. With Music Executives and Professionals being the primary holders of these wobblers it would be safe to say that a boxed one will be a tough find as time goes by. When the convention took place they held a skit award show called "The Tommy's" to showcase their artists and products. To do this Verve Music had Funko produce a few (12 to be exact, 10 went to Verve and 2 stayed at FunKo) Gold LiPuma's to give out as the award to be presented. Needless to say, it?s hard to put a value on those. He?s a PVC Wacky Wobbler and is approximately 7? tall and was retired in 2001.
